1893 Became District Grand Master (brother becomes Vicar of Wirksworth, England same year)
1894 Miss Arkwright mentioned teaching Sunday School at Rata in a book V.W.Bro Arkwright consecrating officer of new Lodge building
1897 CYCLOPEDIA OF NZ 1897 - Lists the Hon. Francis Arkwright as being in Marton
1899 Resigns as District Grand Master
1900 The Governer notified the Legislative Council chamber that Hon.Francis Arkwright has been given a leave of absence - taken from the Hawera & Normaby Star 23 Jube 1900
1902 Francis's brother passes away (William Harry Arkwright)
1903 Returned to England - Henry Fiztherbert takes Overton Marton over from his uncle.  (Henry is married to Alys Stone)
1907 Francis'a daughter marries On 24 July 1907 at Holy Trinity Church, Brompton, Monckton married Margaret Louisa Arkwright. Returning to New Zealand, he managed a farm near Otago in 1910-14; here he began writing the first of his three books. War interrupted
